Kim Salerno has exhibited in museum contexts throughout the country.  She has taught fine art and design studios, at the college level, for over twenty years.  Kim majored in Studio Art at Smith College and earned a Certificate in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  Her work is elevated by a sense of color, refined through study at the Cape Cod School of Art and through teaching color theory.  Her fine art sensibility is shaped by the creative rigor of nationally renowned fellowship/scholarships/residencies.  Her compositions are honed from years of teaching two and three dimensional design.  Kim’s work is further enhanced by a passion for design and the decorative arts.
